Default 1/3 Scale PUP What do I need to know?

i have one ready for covering,, one word, BIG
this thing is a monster, very well built and hope it flies the same. as nose weight is not a issue, it will probably be powered by a spare3w 78 twin i have.

My pal has one with a G-62 for power and it has a 4 pound block of lead along with it in the cowl for balance.
It takes off and lands at near walking speed and is a bit hard to get to "stick" on the landing. Any misque on landing and it will bounce back up and be flying again so be careful and ready to power up for a go-around unless you have a long runway.
I'd suggest nearly no wind for trial flights. It's a gentle giant!
I have some cool pics on my computer at home. I'll try and remember to attach one later.

Default 1/3 Scale PUP What do I need to know?

I finished my pup about 6 months ago. The pup flys wonderful.
I extended the nose 1 inch and have a sach 3.7 for more than enough power. I covered the pup with sig coverall and used latex housepaint. It required three coats to cover and weights
36 lbs. No nose weight was required. The Pup is a show stopper. I also made a bungee suspension that made landind and taxing much better. hope this helps
