I read up on this plane here in the forums and from what I can tell, it is a great Imac plane and not so good for 3d. You can contact TimIndy here on RCU. He did very well in Imac with his before an unfortuanate mid air destroyed it.

I've flown one with a BME100 in it and it tracked very well through IMAC maneuvers. 3D was lacking though. It did a semi-decent harrier but you really had to be on the ball for torquin' cause you just don't have the control surface to get yourself out of a sticky situation.

ORIGINAL: NeoGenesis
To make it 3d.....just mod the control surfaces a bit.....make them a little bigger and all is good.

I'm very happy the way my flies with a ZDZ 80. You'll save some money too. Changing the control surface hinge line would not be easy because of the way the kit is designed.

RE: GP giant xtra 300L
It is funny watching Tower try to move this plane. They must have a bunch of them they want to get rid of and they just can't figure out how low to go to get them to move. Down $3 today to $262. No big deal, just funny to watch. If I were to buy one, $3 wouldn't be the deciding factor...
xplayer - when you get into this size, you can't be worried about trying to save money! Things get expensive on these planes - batteries, chargers, servos, linkages, etc. etc. etc. Everything has to be bigger and bigger = mo money. Get an engine that fits this plane but will also fit future planes as that is the best way to save money over the long haul. Something in the 80 to 100 range would be ideal. A 100 seems too big for this plane, but it is definitly an engine you could use with a lot of planes in the future.
