Default Eflite 1360 Outrunner Prop Size

I have a few APC 9 4 7's..would this prop be the best choice for the 1360Kv outrunner... in the summer when things heats up a bit and of course motor longevity...(not over proping)
Medusa Research Power Analyzer would be a good tool to use, were I can do side by side comparisons on getting the best set-up..

I would think the 9x4.7 would be a good prop for this motor. I've never tested it but when I get a chance I'll try it out and compare it to the static thrust vs current available to other winds and props.

APC 10x3.8 prop might be good also, I'll check and see what kind of amps its pulling with both props..What would you consider the max safe WOT amp draw on the 1360..Good to have you back..Hope your vacation went smooth..

I have this motor and was wondering if a tp 2 cell 860 mah battery is enough? With a 9x 4.7 or a 10x4.7 the motor pulsates after hovering for a while and then wgoing to full throttle. Do I need a different prop.

What motor is it? It sounds more like a speed controller issue if the motor is pulsing.

I don't know much about the Jeti but the 18-amps should be plenty...it almost sounds like the ESC timing isn't set properly.

George don't let me step on your toes here.

Sounds like your cut off voltage is not set properly on the cc10. Reset it for 6v (2 cell ) and that should cure your prob.
