Default MOUNTING OS 300 TWIN IN GP EAGLE ARF

HI GUYS

LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS AN OS 300 TWIN THAT COULD TELL ME THE OVERALL LENGHT FROM THE FIREWALL MOUNT THAT COMES WITH THE ENGINE TO THE PROP HUB

I AM THINKING OF PUTTING ONE IN A GP 1/3 EAGLE AND THEY CALL FOR 6 1/2" FROM THE FIREWALL TO THE COWL, AND I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW WELL IT WILL FIT.

THANK YOU SO MUCH

KELLY

Kelly,

I really can't help with your mounting issue but I can tell there is a GP Eagle forum floating around here some place discussing engines (I read it a few months back). Less than favorable comments were made on the power of the OS300 for the GP Eagle. The 300 was my first choice but I went with the DA-50-R. Try the search engine on this web site and you should be able to find more info on engines for the Eagle.

Don't forget to pin your firewall!!!

Randy,

I love the OS 300 twin in my GP Pitts. Plenty of power and sounds great!
