Pitts info source?
Does anyone know of a good source for info on the Pitts Bipe series?
I'd like to see 3 views, photos, development history of the differing models, etc.
-- thanks in advance!

RE: Pitts info source?
Hi All,
I am also looking for info on the Pitts, but I need photos of Charlie Hillard's Red Devil Pitts. After searching on the net ofr over 6 hours, I still do not have any.
If you know of a source, please let me know.

I know that mine isn't one to one but as I too have searched for the Nr. 1 Red Devil members, (Charles Hilliard's Pitts) to no avail..can only offer up this tidbit...
Check around for the Graphics Location sheet or pages of the Byron's Orginial S1S instruction manaul, maybe from Iron Bay Models. Though they are not producing the Pitts, due to their injection molding machine disfunctioning problem. They may have the graphics and or the particular location sheet that maybe able to help. Another source mightbe a modeler that has built or may still have that part of the instructions from Byron's, this is where I got my information.
Though I am short a couple of items on My S2a conversion to that particular Red Devil Team aircraft. I can only offer up my own. Not totally accurate it works for me and may help a little bit.
I am hot on the trail of the information that you seek and have a person in mind that should have a couple of Byron's Pitts still in the boxes. Will see what I find, copy and post them here or on my photo album page.
It can be seen here:

For the three views in decent shape you can check out http://www.toni-clark.com under his Kit information then click on the Pitts S1s and then the three view button on the left side bar of his web site.
Hope this helps...LOL !!
