Thanks. Got the center section covered and mounted. Gives an idea of what it will look like together. Craig

Sure there is enough room for the radio equipment in there? Looks awful tight.

Looks good, you are doing a great job on it. Just think you will only have to wait another 3 month for the river to give us the field back...

Painted the cowl and wheel pants. Not thrilled with the red wheel pants, but will see how it looks outside assembled before I go to the effort of repainting them. The size of the cowl makes the 32" Menz look like a popsicle stick and in the vertical position, there is still over 11" of ground clearance. This thing is big!! cbk

I think it would look better with a yellow spinner and blue pants.

You need my completely scale radial engine graphic. I mounted mine to black foam-core and silicone it inside the cowl. I cut out vent holes directly before the DA150 heads. Nice large vent exit on the bottom with Bob's nice vent channel. I will also shamelessly show a pic of my updated cockpit and instrument panel kit as well. The pix below show much reduced versions of the kit. These photos show the Goldberg kit size.

Albert, finished it, flew it 1 1/2 seasons, and sold it. I was just talking to Bob today about building another. I think it was my favorite plane I ever owned! It was just avalable for sale again last month

Jason, I called Bob to ask about the CG....he said he already spoke with you. The plane looks great

Thank you , Yes Bob spoak with me and I think that I am going to move some weight around , Thank you for looking into it for me . any and all help means a lot . The pitts that I made is a tribute to Jimmy Franklin, bobby younkin , and Jim LeRoy , I was Kent shockleys Crew chief for shock wave through the MOD years and worked many shows with them . the plane is my way of remembering the good times we all had and to pay tribute to my fallen heros .
