Hi..I thought I would let you know that about 10 years ago I put Stits covering on a J-3 I was building. I used the paint that the seller recommneded and it turned out very nice. The point is, here it is 10 years later and the covering on the j-3 is as tight and sound as the day I installed it. Now don't get me wrong, I did not leave this plane out side somewhere it has been hanging in the rafters of my garage most of the time. I even went as far as to use a "maul" gauge I think it is called to test the covering for deteriatio just as they do on full scall and it is well within the specps of a full size aircrafte.
I'm waiting for a 1/3 Waco kit to arrive and I can tell you that Stits is the only choise for me.
