Default 1/4 scale Balsa usa cowl

Does anybody know where I can get a metal cowl for this plane? Or if I can't go metal how about a quality fiber glass cowl. Any ideas?

Sorry. I am building the 1/4 scale Balsa USA Sopwith Pup.
The cowl looks (and feels) kinda flimsy. A nice spun aluminum or heavy fiber glass cowl would be great. Anybody have any advice or changes for this kit? BA recommends a Zenoa 23 but I plan on using a 38. Thanks

Balsa USA sells an aluminum one on their site, and fiberglass specialties sells a fiberglass one for around $30.00.

Good grief, here we go again.....!The G38 is too much weight and too much power for this model. You are talking about a 65% increase in displacement !Yes I know the plans indicate weight is needed to locate the CG,but you will be much further ahead to ballast with lead and then sneak it out a little at a time until the plane performs as you like it......If you want unlimited aerobatics you have chosen the wrong model.......

Default Keep the weight out front

Hanger Rat

I just finished a Balsa USA DR-1 and because of the engine I used
it needed weight up front, Icouldn't attach weight to the cowl
as it to was to flimsy to hold the weight. So I made a simulated prop hub for it, it was just enough, and looked kool
it went over so well that I had to make some more.
Heres a picture
