I am looking for any imforamatiom about a gaint Buff that was flown by a gent from the uk about a year or two ago picture,s or any info. you be great.Regards. Bruce

This quote is from the Wren Turbine site. Wren supplied the 8 turbines for the original B-52 model.
B52 Project

The B52 is now almost rebuilt and Gordon Nichols collected the reconstructed engines from Wren on Thursday last week. The engines are 8 MW54 turbines. He hopes to have it flying again by the summer. It is great that he has had the energy to face such a major task and we will all enjoy it flying again hopefully soon.

i am happy to see that they are rebuilding that thing its a site to see. the guy needs to send it to a top gun event. i was really heartbroken to see it fall like it did.

It is too heavy to be flown at Top Gun or any other AMA sanctioned event.
