Default old Super Xtra, new super xtra, what differences are there?

I'm thinking of purchasing the Comp-Arf Super Xtra in the buy sell forum but it is the old model. Besides wing spar/wing tube, adjustable stabs, what are the differences between the old and new models? Does the new model fly better than the old, or would an average flyer like myself even notice the difference?

Thanks,

Kelvin.

All will fly very well. The SuperExtra has enlarged ailerons, and a smaller counterbalance on the rudder, along with the changes you mentioned. Also the new ones are back using the aluminum wing tube, instead of the floating spar, and they don't have adjustable stabs. Old, or new, any one of them are going to fly great. Scott
