Columbo Anderson 34% Extra...Do I want one?
This afternoon I'll be going to look at a CA 34% Extra which was built by one of our club's better builders. It's RTF minus Rx. "No expense spared"...DA 100, JR 8611 everywhere, etc. Never been flown. The builder decided that it's just too big to move around and is sticking to his 50cc sized stuff.
My impression of CA kits is good, but I am having trouble finding good feedback using the search feature on RCU or web-wide using Google. Some think the Cardens, while heavier, are better. Others think the opposite is true.
Anyone out there have any 1st hand experience? I'd like to hear your impressions.
Thanks,
Robert

Chip has a uncovered "ARC" for sale... just one I think... http://www.chiphyde.com

Ron,
the Chip Hyde is a licensed copy of the CA 34% with the control surfaces enlarged. The planes plus is the same plane but without the pipe area of the CHP. I have the CHP and my friend has the planes plus, other than the pipe area they are identical. They fly great. I also have the Planes Plus 27%, same thing ther great plane...
