Default 12FG TX using 2 cell 7.4/2600mah lith ion?

Anybody know if it would be feesable to use a 2 cell/2600mah/7.4 volt lith ion in the Futaba 12fg? The radio comes with a 7.2 volt/1700mah/NIMH batt. I would think Futaba would say "nothing but what we manufacture", but I use an hydrimax batt in my 9C. A lot of guys use 10 volt lithium ion batts in their 9.6 volt transmitters. I would think that ".2" wouldn't matter? If not I might get one.
