Yesterday was a sad day... Completely wrecked my World Models Extra (w/moki 2.10)..... I enjoyed this plane and was planning on using it in this years IMAC. Today starts a new day and now I must find a replacement plane.... Im having a hard time finding just the right plane.... I would like another Extra with the wing span between 80 and 95 inches, and it would be very nice to find another ARF.... The only 2 ARFs I can find is another WM or go to a little smaller plane and try the GP.... To be honest I dont want to go smaller then the WM and go to the GP, if anything id like to go a tad larger then the 80in WM.... If I have to i'll go for another WM, but even tho I enjoyed this plane it isnt the "perfect" flying Extra Arf.... If anyone knows of another Extra Arf between 80-95 inch wing that i've missed please reply.... Thank you for your time.... (still shell shocked from yesterday here in Denver (

I've got one of Aerodromes 330LX's it looks to be a real nice model... Well built, plenty of glue, good wood selection...

Well it's not an Extra, but I see where Chief Aircraft has arranged to buy a boatload of H9 33% Caps - actually 100 of them. Just when I thought we'd never see this plane again.

If you order before Feb 14, it's $700 including the shipping.
Super flying plane, and you wanted to go gas anyway......

Goldie, what happened to your WM Extra? I have one of the GP PW Extras and was just curious as to what hapend to yours. I lost a WM P-51 about 45 days ago... Hurts like hell!!! haha had to go out and get a different plane also.

could allways check out the DP extra...not 80" and a bit hard to get these days, but I hear they are somthin special!

DP's Extra is nearly an 80" model, 78" is listed. I have one, its a wild ride....

Aerodrome Models are available from Southgate Aero, Inc. A buddy has the edge and another has the Cap. So far were all happy...

Go for the DP Extra or Edge. I have the Extra, with the Moki 2.10, and it rips.

Have to agree with mglavin and 3dbatixkid. The dp extra is fantastic. I have one with a zdz 40 in it. just find the thread with the video of 3dbatixkid flying his with a moki 210. It makes me want to cry. Major props to 3dbatixkid. It is one sweet flying plane.

3dbatixkid, maybe one day I can be that good. Still working on rolling circles, torque rolls, and harriers. Your video was an inspiration.
