OS Gemini 300 mated to GP Super Chipmunk
Weight doesn't appear to be of concern due to the inherent tail heavy condition. The question is "Will it fit inside the cowling? I had read somplace on this site that one had used this engine in an Ohio R/C Super Chipmunk. The engine's width is 9.5 inches. It would be a great combination.

I have a spare ohio Rc chipmunk cowl and I'll try to measure for you soon. I don't think it will fit completely but if it did - it would like awesome in the nose.

I'll be waiting for your answer patiently. I don't want to order the plane and rely on wishful thinking. Thank you in advance.

OK, this answers several questions. Obviously quite a bit of difference. The reference had to have had the cylinders exposed outside the cowl. well, back to the drawing board for a candidate aircraft for this OS 300 engine of mine. Thanks for your help on this matter and Happy Holiday.
