GP CAP OR WH EDGE? OR.....
I Think its about time to get another airplane. My first two thoughts are the great planes 1/3 cap and the wh edge. Basically looking to find a home for my new 3W-80xi.
i know there are some yaks and other airplanes i could consider.... anyone have any strong feelings or suggestions?
If anyone has anything used in this size for sale feel free to run it by me.... airframe only plz.

I have both the Wild Hare Edge 28% and the 1.20 size and Im very satisfied with both. I just bought the 28% and will have it in the air hopefully by the end of May. The 1.20 size is going on its second season and has about 75 flights on it. They are both very well built planes and they have a very good reputation. Tom at Wild Hare is a great guy to deal with one on one and will treat you right. Give him a call before you make your choice. I am very pleased with both my planes.

Well I can simplify this a lot. The 33% Edges are no longer available.
As many people know we changed builders from Thailand to China about 2 years ago. We have been gradually shifting production as each plane is redesigned. The new planes are lighter and more modern in design.
Alas, the 33% Edge was made in Thailand. We are working on a replacement that will be aimed right at the 80-85cc single market, but nothing is available yet, sorry.
We do still sell the Extra 260 and will make a good deal on that plane. It's the same plane as the Extra but with double taper wings.

both for sure but emphasis on precision this time cause as u know I have a Cap. I am thinking about the WH extra as well it flies soooo light. i just need to watch a bunch of these planes fly and do some more reading.

Well for what it's worth I have seen the WH260 fly and it fly's very well.. from what I can see in videos it 3Ds extremely well as well.
I actually wanted one of those but I didn't have the money so I went with the Cap instead. If I were you I would talk to Tom and see what kind of deal he can get you on the 260. Can't see how you wouldn't be happy with one of those.
Seen the GP Cap fly.. seems to fly well but does come out a bit heavy.

I have a WH 33% Extra 260. It's a very nice flying plane. Something to think about though is that it sounds like the Extra is being phased out like the 33% Edge. Getting replacement parts down the road may not be possible.
