120" Road-Runner kit feedback ?
Hi,
I am looking for more info on the 120" Road-Runner kit. I would appreciate feedback on the quality of the kit contents, the parts required to complete the plane, the motor sizes recommended ( I am thinking of using it as a towplane), the skill level required to build and fly the plane and whether the plans show any towhook location details. Finally, any pictures will be most appreciated!
Thanks

120'' roadrunner
Quietflyer this is funfly, about the 120" roadrunner there is not a kit for this plane , but there is a short kit with ribs, formers, and full length spars with four sheets of full size plans, no building instructions. the plans do not show a tow mech. but it has been used for this and works very well. i have a picture of one with a mc-menerreli? twin on it .i think this is the right one

I don't think Mac Minarelli makes a 4stroke glow engine, which is what the plane in the above picture has. It looks like your 70" version in your photo gallery, but I do see your 90" and 120" there too.
They look like great knock about airplanes.
Riverton WY, huh? Hmmm....

120" Road-Runner kit feedback ?
The Roadrunner is a great fun fly airplane, no bad habits. My flying buddy has one with a Saito 270 twin on it, what a hot rod. He can almost bite his own tail in a loop. I have seen them used as tow planes and just for sport flying. Try one you won't be sorry.

The roadrunner is a fantastic all around airplane for just about anything you wish to use it for except aerobatics.
If you take the time to split the ailerons and make inboard flaps for slow flight as well as tight loops. you'll be pleased with your efforts.
