Default The ALL NEW Dietrich 75cc Extra 260

Here she is, the ALL NEW Dietrich Performance 75cc Extra 260!!!

More specs will be updated later but I will say she has a wingspan of 96 inches and weighs 19 and 3/4 lbs RTF with a DA 85! The new 75cc 260 also sports a ALL NEW NEVER USED BEFORE Composite wood and foam fuse a new technology that is going to set a new standard in ARFs. Let me say she flys AMAZING!!!!! check out Dietrichaircraft.com for more more updates

John;
I presently have the 50cc version and it is one sweet flying plane and the quality is outstanding. I put a deposit on the 75cc several weeks ago and was wondering when I might expect the plane to come in. Thanks

Gaines

p.s. What is the length of the 75cc.

I'm interested' Will there be CF wing and stab tube options or is there a place to get them? Same question for the landing gear.

At this point and time we do not have any Carbon fiber parts for this Extra.......And I really dont think you need any CF stuff with this as light as it is already...but we will check into it and see what we can offer.

looks like a very nice bird. I am impressed with the weight with the DA85. It should fly like a foamy.

On the point of carbon fiber parts such as the wing tube and so forth I think it might be a good idea because some guys (like me) can bend the aluminum tubes and carbon almost becomes a necessity as opposed to a luxury add-on. Regardless I love the colors and the high level of pre-completed work such as hinging. Looking forward ot being able to fly one one day

you only need 1 servo per wing....we recommend a min of 240 oz servo per side.

yes I agree with you fully and carbon fiber is a good thing in the 3D world....but even a full scale wing flexes a lil...

yes she does fly very much like a foamy in the power to weight dept.

Wings look like they have very little taper to them. Wings with more taper tend to snap cleaner in my experience.

Hey, didn't you used to work for Aeroworks???

Any chance of leaving the pre-installed at the factory hinges off
and letting the buyer install them ?

The reason I ask is the ones that came pre-installed on the 50cc model is a poor
job & deflection issues are prevalent...just a thought.

Not installing the hinges wouldn't fix that - it looks like poor beveling. Maybe if they just didn't cover it?
