You can put some shrink tubing on the cable in the back, all the way fromthe connector to the antenna.

You can also join the ranks of 9303 converts

So there I am sitting on the fence trying to deceid which module to get for my Zap and out comes a 9Ch four receiver Rx with a power bus, trouble is I don't like the seperate cable out of the back of the Spektrum Module, its just asking to get damp when put on the ground (we don't have the facilities you guys in the US have in the UK) The Futaba modual restricts you to 8CH and the Extreme has no protection for the airial for the Zap, I think I will lye down for a while. It looks like I'm going to be checking out the A123's for flying next year. More than likely I will need to update my charging system too. Are you guys balancing these batteries every time you charge also??? I have a Triton and a DN balancer/charger for the Lipos and Lions but doubt they will work. The DN balancer charges at 4.2 volts per cell and I can't change the voltage on that one. I'm flying four 50cc planes so I was thinking the 2300 pacs would work???? Man oh man. Everytime I get everything set up - something new comes along and leaves me obsolete (kinda like me). At least I have the 2.4 9303 going for me.... Thanks for any info guys..... Bill
PS: Good Thread

You could get a A123 converter/blinky for the Triton or a Cellpro for $60 which only balance charges, but I believe we will see a lot more support in the future.
They dont get out of balance much it seems but if you wire in a tap its just as easy to balance imo unless your going for 10amp charge rates.

Thanks Panzlflyer,
Just a couple of months ago I was wondering what I will do this winter to keep myself busy. I didn't have any projects anticipated then. Now in November I'm thinking I have enough little stuff going on and a 160 size Fatana to build. This will take me into 2008 with no problem. Any more projects and I'll be busy till next July....
Josey,
Did you ever come to any conclusions with your 366 and the new carb. Did it work out better etc. I'd like to know.... Bill

YES! Its definitely worth it IMO. Engine ran much smoother and idled at least 250R's less than the original cab AND there was much less vibration as well.

Are there any problems associated with soldering A123 cells?
(like li-pos, which have an aluminium tab on one pole, which makes soldering a real pain imo.)
