Hey, there is evidence of life in the peanut gallery. Hi Gary.
You are absolutely right, my sequence got out of whack. I am trying to quit smoking, I wish it was as easy as hitting the tx switch while flying my Python.
OK, new sequence- fly, fly, fly, with less BS time in the pit area.
Sorry, I won't discuss crashing I am in denial.

Not so fast. You cant get off that easy. If you talk about it will make it easier. Atleast that is what my therapist says.

We need details.......what plane....what happened......how long it happened for......waht was the first thing that you thought about......what was the cause......who did it......di you cry......did you want to cry.......did you have to take a smoke break afterwards........Correction you quit smoking........did you want a cigarette after it happened??????????

Dont feel bad about crashing. The batteries in my thumbs go dead all the time. I think it is casued from a short circuit between my thumbs and head.

Why doesn't Scary Gary tell us about his little incident with his QQ Yak? What was that maneuver called?

Hey, I did a nice dead stick landing. [X(] That tree just came up and hit my plane right on the spinner. It was on its wheels.

Have you been working on the Harrier rolling pancake anymore?

Brought the big YAK out for its first flight of this year after its winter hibernation! Forgotten just how great this thing flies, brought it down on the deck and it just sat there locked into the hover

Been flying my old CARF 2.6m 330 Extra over the winter and although it is a sweet plane it just doesn't have the presence or stability of the YAK!!

Rush, that is funny. It reminds me why I don't go to the therapisst... too many questions, not enough answers. I guess it's a guy thing.

some good smoke for sure, i had a smoke pump on my comp-arf, it was nice on that plane cause it was easy to clean off and didnt hurt anything(covering), i was thinking of adding to this plane, is it tough on the covering though? maybe i will wait till i buy another comp-arf, may be years from now with my job being slow now though[&o]

Are the stabs on this removable? I need to be able to get it into an Expedition. At 103" long its going to need to go between the front seats. Has anyone been able to get this into an Expedition or Yukon?

Thanks!

It's a DL100 28x10 on Zimmerman cans - Pull out looks slow because I was at about 3/4 throttle

IFlyEm35 Yes the stabs are removable. This plane should fit in the Expedition no problem. You may have to angle it in a little but it will go.

It's a 28-10 Mejzlik, works very well, perfect match for the setup I'm using. It's the new version DA 100 with MTW RE2 pipes.

I honestly have never checked the cg, I have a very slight push when inverted. Next time I get out I'll check it and give you the number.

Lee.... IIRC your CG ended up right on the center of gravity.... works well there!

It's hard to beat a Mejzlik.
