Hello diamondave
I liked the Biela 26x10 on my Super ZDZ80 and KS-95 canister better than Mejlzick 26x10. The Mejzilck 26x10 spined 300 RPM faster than Biela and it's a better 3 prop at 6700 RPM but the biela 26x10 at 6400 RPM is better IMAC/3D prop for my flying style (60% IMAC, 40% 3D).
Daniel
i dont suppose you have any menz numbers on a 26-10, i was getting around 6300 or so, motor is still fairly new so im sure it would pick up some more, and it flew pretty good, but the vess 26B turned around 6500 on the ground, and was actually ripping pretty good a few times at brief full throttle straight and level, the motor responds better with the vess for now, but id think about a mej or similar if it turns more rrr's than a menz same size

That's definitely dirty Dave... I mean dusty! Looks good. For anyone who has been waiting on Esprit Model to get their spinners back in stock, they finally have them. The 5" weighs exactly the same as my Pete's Model 5".

pfoot748,

That star looks good on the rudder.

Dave,

Looking good sounds like that ZDZ is running sweet.

Thanks. I just recieved my graphics for this and my 88" Extra today from http://scottsrc.com/ and he did a great job and gave me just what I wanted as usual. The camera sucks inside but its too cold outside for just pics right now. This is my 2nd 110" and I can't wait to fly this one as its quite a bit lighter than the other I got rid of. I'm tempted to head somewhere warmer for a few days to just fly.

WOW!!!!!!!!!

Maidened today. Official member of the BIG WOW club. Two flights. Baffle came loose, so quit. CG at recommended numbers, but needs to shift aft for my taste. Need to get more throw on the stabs. Flew my buddy's 110" with aft CG and more throw on the elevators and it is nearly perfect. Taking it to Jacksonville 3DFX tomorrow for more fun and games. Oh, yeah, DA-85 with Slimline Pitts muffler is plenty of power! Maybe not stupid power, but plenty. Very similar to my 88" with the DA50 on pipe.

Another Maiden.... Put my red and white bird in the air today....Had some carb problems last week. I got that all sorted out now. This Yak is just ridiculous....I mean you can literally take a break during the flight grab a cup of coffee or a coke and this thing will fly itself. I thought the 74" was bad*****.... As advertised good job Chris!

No I am just heading down to Noonan, North Dakota. It is about two hours from where I am. But from what I hear about the plane, I trip to Georgia would be worth it.

10 flights at the FX3D event in Jacksonville. Really impressed with the plane. Can't wait to burn through my break in gas, tweak the needles a touch and put the 27A on the nose.

Finally goy mine yesterday, went to my shop to open all of the boxes for closer inspection. All I can say is perfection! Not a wrinkle, blemish, nothing, absolute perfection! Let the build begin.

Great News!!

What scheme did you get? What setup are you going to run?

I got the yello/black/silver scheme. I am going with a DL 100 on stock mufflers. I blew my wad on cannisters for my Quique Pitts Python. I am going to use Hitec 7955 all round with a Spectrum AR9100 with 2 2300 A123's. I am trying to go a lite as possible so I am hoping to use a programmer on the ailerons. I have a carbon fiber spinner and a 27 x 10 Mejzlik prop. If you have any suggestions let me know.

Kent,

Sounds good. It sounds like you are going this route but I would suggest 2 servo's on the rudder. I can tell a difference in the way the rudder feels between one 8711 and two 7955's. The 8711 I had only lasted 59 flights, but I must have had a bad one. I attached a picture of the servos set up the Harris way. I'm using the AR9100 and 3 2300 A123's and it's working great.

I just bought a new QQ Python also. How do you like yours?

Hey guys, just wondering if I could get away with using 1.25 servo arms instead of 1.5. I have a bunch of SWB 1.25 servo arms and was hoping to not have to buy 1.5's.

I use 1.25 in servo arms on my 110" Yak. Get 40 dgrees each way, & am very happy with it. I so mostly sequence flying, with a little 3D thrown in. Try it.
