Are the wings built up or solid foam? If built up, might be a precision built aka Bob Godfrey. I have one about 10 yrs old. a great flier

I don't think it is a Lanier because their 1/4 scale kit had a 72" wing span and the 1/3 scale kit had a 96" wing span, and you stated that this has an 88" wing span.

hey bob...yes the wings on the fuse are 88 inch. the more i look at it the more i think its a kit built. i pulled some covering off and noticed that the cheap clue most arfs have isnt there. its mostly epoxy with what looks like CA in all the joints. maybe maybe not but it looks more like a kit to me. even the covering job doesnt look like an arf.

hey...another thing, the elavators have working trim tabs built and hinged. ive never seen this before. the only laser i could find was a 87inch made by aeropro. foam core wings with a foam turtel deck like mine but the elavators did not have trim tabs i will send some pics of them soon.

If those tabs are hooked up so that when the elevators are up; the tabs are down, and down, the tabs are up; then those tabs are boost tabs, not trim tabs and I can promise you that was a kit or scratch built airframe. Boost tabs are custom installed to lower the loads against the servos during flight.
Should be a fun airplane to fly...

thanks rcpilot...not sure yet. im thinking DA50 but the plane only weighs 9 lbs. i have a big super tiger 3000 but i dont think it would be vary fun. the engine plane and wings come to 12lbs servos and batt mite ad another 1lb 1-1/2lb.
