These things happen, it’s sad when they do but it part of the sport of fly RC model aircraft. Two 33% Hanger 9 Extras 260 using electric power motors have a mid air crash during a <st1:time minute="0" hour="12">noon</st1:time> time flight display at the 2009 Scale fly-In held this year at Prado Air Field in CA. As you hear Sam Wright say after the crash, “That was not supposed to happen”, both models were completely destroyed in the crash.
