Default Amelung CAP222/Giles 202

Hi Folks

I recently purchased a CAP222/ Giles 202 from Amelung. It had been shelfed since late nineties. Fuse and rudder are all GF, wings are balsasheeted foam.
Wing span is 2,35 meters and included engine is a ZG62 with reso pipe from Seyer.

Apperently Amelung does not exist anymore. Is there anybody out there, who knows anything about this aircraft?

My plan is to use it for IMAC BASIC (eventually Sportsman) flying. So I guess the ZG 62 will need to be swopped with something beefy´er. The manuals estimate a flying weight of 9,3 Kg´s (App 20 lbs).

you better get a MVVS 58 prosport for that plane.
It will fit in a 62 space, and provide quite a lot more power on a MTW TD75 canister .

Actually I am looking for something in the range of 70-80 cc for this bird. There is plenty of space in it. Could even fit a DL100 in there. Still would like to hear from anyone who´s familiar with this product.
