Default New Hitec Servo's - 600 + Oz of Torque

Just saw the New HS-7980TH and HS-7990TH servo's posted on Hitec's site. Holy cow, these things are almost putting out seiko servo torque. Website says 689oz at 7.4v. It's amazing how much technology continues to change. I don't need it but it's tempting to put one of these in my next giant scale project.

yeah the stuff they come out with....

I flew a 1/3 scale extra 330L with hitec 645 mg's all around... one per surface and twins on the rudder.. and flew it very very hard ..I was waiting for the plane to explode sometimes..

I am a hitec man no doubt but do we really need a 700 oz servo

I can see the use in 40%ers for sure.. 35% maybe on the rudder if you are a KE junkie or heavy 3D. Outside of that it's not something everyone is going to need.. but its great to have options!

no, I feel ya.. I guess with the markets going, bigger and bigger and bigger.. sooner or later we will

I know with the american way !! I have a few buddies, that will be putting these on every plane they have, cause the 7955s they have are just not enough[&o]
