Default New L-4 Face Book Resource for Model Builders

Guy's,

We are in the process of putting together a Face Book page for all L-4 enthusiasts. The page is not only for owners but also for scale model builders and flight simmers. More or less a one stop for lovers of this famous Warbird. If you don't find the info you need on the page just ask us and I am sure we can locate it for you.

We just started the page a day or so ago and are compiling and adding lots of pictures and information on a daily basis. We believe it will be a good resource for everyone and encourage participation. If anyone has a photo album of a scale L-4 they have done and or links to a video feel free to upload it there. While I own a full scale L-4 I also enjoy RC, along with flight sims FSX and CFS3.

Spaceworm,

The plane in your pictures is either an L-18C (95 hp) or an L-21A (125 hp) or L-21B (135 hp) Super Cub. The L-4 was the military version of the venerable J-3 Cub and had exposed cylinders. The Super Cub had a fully cowled engine as in your pictures.
