Default howard dga 40% scratch build

Here are a few pics of my latest project, It has a span of 182 inches and I plan on runway and float flying it.Iwill post more pics as i go. happy landings all. jim

I have a 12ft box trailer i use to transport my large models. It hasa 3w 150 on it now i may goto a3w 210 or 275if i need more nose weight.

Beautiful project. That 150 looks absolutely tiny on that firewall. A radial will be the only engine to do this plane justice!

You inspire me. I enlarged plans for a Senior Telemaster to fit a 27cc engine I have. Have yet to start building, but I will definitely check back here often to see if I can keep pace with you. Can't wait to see your mammoth fly!

Should be around 60 to 75lbs not sure at this time. cant wait to see it fly too. Igot nothing done on the dga this weekend i had to change over 4 planes to 2.4 this weekend and test fly them. jim
