What all do i need ?
Hey guys, ok so im moving from nitro airplanes to a Big Scale Airplane. Its a Big Stick from AMR and i bought a DLE-55. Can you guys let me know what else i need.
So far:
Gas DLE-55
Futaba FASSTreceiver
Nicad 4.8 reciver battery
Im guessing i need a battery for the igntion system and maybe stear away from the 4.8receiverbattery and move towards a bigger pack.

If you have a charger that will handle it I would suggest you ditch the nicd and go with a LIFE battery or at least run everything on a 6 volt nimh. You will also need a way to kill your engine from the radio, 42% optical kill switch is what I would recommend for that as well.

Again I preech. get with the local club/flyers and ask them the same questions. they are the ones that you will be flying with. it's a hands on, one on one situation. dick

Guys at the local field are your best resource. If you do what they do, using the products that they use, they will have the solutions to your problems.
