Deisel fuel, carosene, and transmission fluid, 33% of each. WARNING: smoke fluid plays Hell on monocote.

I was always told concrete form oil works great and is fairly cheap in 5 gallon containers

Kerosene, is lighter and does not smell much compared to diesel. I am using a 50/50 mix of kerosene and mineral oil and it produces pretty good smoke, but not as good as Super Dri. I get the mineral oil at a feed store about $18 gal and the kero is $4 so it comes out about $11 gal. It does leave a mess on the plane if you have the flow too high and spit out alot of unburned oil. The trick is not letting the muffler get to cooled by too much oil. Some of the ingredients being used are harmful to covering as mentioned.

Concrete form oil is AWFUL to get off of your hands. Your clean up paper towels should be burned vs. thrown in home trash. It also eats covering as well as foam, albeit slowly.

Does super dri smoke oil eat up covering and foam, or is it safe on covering. Maybe it never forms oil on your covering in the first place to eat it up...hence the term super dri?
