Well the weather has started to improve so this morning it was clean the garage. Clean my work bench and start fiber-glassing the bottom horizontal stabs. Well at least one of them (haha). So as the pictures are numbered so goes the process.
1. Lay out the glass and cut so the glass will laydown when the finishing resin is applied.
2. Mix and pour the resin onto the glass
3. Spread with an old credit card or hotel key etc.
4. Glass is done and now waiting to dry.
Next step will be to do the other stab and then sand off the rough edges. Then the bottom fuselage is next.
More to come. However I just got a call for another job in Denver. Will be there about 6 weeks. Will take up where I left off.

Trying to get as much done as I can before Sunday. I leave for another job and will be gone for 6 weeks. I would really like to have this bird flying by the summer time. I think I am going to get it in the primer and get it flown before adding too much detail. We will see.

Got the lower fuselage glassed. Sanded then removed the tape for straight lines. This will allow me to lay the glass on the upper side straight as well. Did some filling and sanding on the R/H Horizontal stab. Now I am currently allowing the glass to fully cure and will proceed to the Upper half tomorrow.

The temperature here is in the mid 60's. As such the Zpoxy is not curing as fast as it does normally. If the temperature was in the 70's I would already be working on the top half of the fuselage. Oh well. It's not like I am flying this bird tomorrow. HAHA.
More to come.

Will be glassing the vertical stab tomorrow then the fuselage. The question about the SBACH. If anyone is flying one, let me know. Got a real quick question for you.
Thanks

Has anyone here used an EME-60 on this bird? This will be my first EME engine and was wondering if any of you can chime in with details on how the engine performs etc.
Thanks
