Default suggestions on whar airplane to design and build

Hi guys,

I have a gas engine fuji 2 stroke bt 50 ei. 50 cc. I want to do the plans and build a scale airplane for this engine. The airplane will have about 1400 sq. In wing area. Can someone suggest some scale airplanes that have fixed gear that has not been modeled before? Im looking for ideas. I want to go have a unique airplane that no one at the club has because there are no kits for it. Seems like dave platt and Wendell Hostetler and others have modelled many already.

Why go to all that trouble when the plans for these two models are available from Flying Models. Dan.

I'm going to do an Aeronca LB . never seen one, so would be nice. Working on the design already. There are plans out there for one, but not 50 cc though.

Hmmmmm. Something with fixed gear that hasn't been done.

Great choice on the LB.

I've got a few images over my workbench of a Kinner K Sportster that I thought would be a great subject.

Especially after enjoying my 80" Giant Super Sportster so much. Just a sweet airframe.

By the way - if you need ideas below is a great website. Look through "Aircraft A - Z" on slow days.

Thanks for the website link. There are some real gems of airplanes in there. My design is going well. I hope this thing will balance.
