Sorry guys but today was not very productive. When the wife is here it is much cooler in the house and wood glue does not dry very quick cool. On the bright side the wings are mostly sheeted, the bending part anyway. Tomorrow I should finish them up which entails some flat sheeting front to rear at the two inboard ribs and fitting the ailerons. So maybe tomorrow I can fit the wing to the fuse and get back to finishing the fuse.

We have decided to go back to the house today, but, I have the remainder of the sheeting on and curing. Depending on when we leave (wife's choice) as to how far I will get.

Nice work...those wings didn't take long.
Its also important to keep the wife happy. If it was up to us we would probably spend 24/7 on our toys. Have a great day.

The bottom wing has been fitted and the fuse balsa that surrounds it has been installed. Starting to look like something!

Upon returning to the house I find this package from Gary at Decal-it. It is a set of the stars and bars for my prop, of which he sent without my knowledge. That is typical for Gary, one hell of a guy, but also in the envelope was a sample of the Bulldog logo. Ohhh Baby, he does such sweet work, really makes me want to get to my Bulldog build.

What happened? Gee, I've almost missed the entire build! Slow down Robert, you're making my head spin.

So, would you say this is going much easier than the first one?

Gary is very good and very reasonable with his pricing. But, unfortunately he is not the one whom did the eagle. I wish he had been it would have been even better. But he did make all the sponsor logos and lots of masking.

Much easier, all those scale details really add time and difficulty to a build.

You'll have to forgive me, I VERY lightly skimmed over the last few pages, but you are not putting in all the minute scale details that you did on yours? Okay, that would explain some of it.

The fullsize Bulldog photos look to have squared off wing tips. Do they offer the kit with that option or would you have to make your own modifications rather than the round?

Yes, the full-sized has squared wing tips, and tail feathers that resemble an Extra or Edge. EMHW does have a kit matching the Bulldog, I have one and it will be the Bulldog II.

I started prepping everything to vac the canopy but the plug is still wet. I placed it in the oven on the lowest setting to aid in curing, going to be a few hours. Got to love cool weather.
