The rear of the fuse at the fin is flat, it sets on that. The fuse is pulled up to the table and taped to it so it is very lightly held as it sits in itself.

I'm glad the package made it. Whew!! One of the intakes is also for you. I hope you can use it. Gerhard said it will help to keep the carborator cool and will give an increase of 100rpm. If it fits great but, if not don't worry about it. That laser comes in handy. What an Awesome motor!!

The engine has been mounted, next up the servo's. First pic is the engine mounted. Second is the carb from the bottom, the black line is where it needs to be cut out to in order to accommodate the intake tube. The third shows how the carb set's a little inside the mount box, the black line is where I will put a ply plate inside the box for more support having the bottom cut out as it will be.

Hi Robert, that looks like a lot to cut out. If you don't think its worth it lets set it aside. What do you think?

It is already a done deal. The kit only calls for glassing the box, I added hardwood to the inside corner's, where the ply meets the nose there will be hardwood at the corners, and on the inside at that line will be another sheet of ply, so it will be more than strong enough with that cut-out. I am currently working on the servo mount blocks.

And here is the ignition and smoke pump. All these items going on the nose will be removed so as to glass the nose. Afterwards they will be reinstalled with a padded seat, this way all the holes are in place and get sealed.

The ply reinforcement shelf is in, and it was not easy getting it in there and glued. A few pieces of hardwood in the corners and it will really add to the strength of the box.

That piece of ply looks like it was cut to a perfect fit. I can see why it was hard to install. Perfection doesn't come easy...great work Bud!!

I have to admit, I marked it off the top piece before I assembled the box.

Sweet Robert! This is a darn fast paced build thread. It almost looks like you've done this before.

Squirrly, you're a lucky man!
