GB,
that is one fantastic looking Bearcat!

Scale wise, our gear will be unmatched. We work at designing it to resemble and function as accurately as possible so the airplane doesnt look like its on "stilts" due to the struts being significantly smaller than they should be. This does up the price for the gear, but when your talking about an all composite airframe with Full surface detailing molded into it, the gear needs to look the part as well.

Here are a few photos showing the level of detail that will be included. This is of course my 1/4 TA152H, but the bearcat will be very similar.

Thomas

Rob,

i saw somewhere that Graham made that static prop out of some PVC plumbing parts for the hub and he made the blades himself.

Great kit, great model and great building

Did you use aluminium paint? From wich brand?

Will a Moki fit in the cowl? What gear are you using? Sorry, so many questions....

This is a beautifull warbird

Hi Nuno.... I can't answer all the questions on paint, I'll let JetJock chime in on that, but on my 3W bearcat I run a Moki 300cc radial. It fits under the cowl. For gear I use Sierra Giant scale. A Moki 300cc or 250cc are a great combination for the kit.

No, those are for a smaller scale 1:5. you'll have to call or email Darrell at Sierra and he'll show you the right ones. The 3W is a 1:4 scale. those gear are only rated for 35lbs A built 3W bearcat will be 45-50lbs.
