Default Hangar 9 or top flite Corsair

Going to get the giant scale corsair but undecided on which ARF to go with the hangar 9 or the Top Flite.
Opinions on quality, ease of built, durability etc etc etc

I suggest you find the existing threads on each, read them completely, and then decide for yourself. Nothing beats a little research.

I also suggest some research on Youtube. You may get some info there as well that can assist in your decision.

I have several Giant Top Flite Warbirds, all good planes, easy to build and solid; I looked at the Top Flite and Hanger 9 Corsair and the Hanger 9 looks impressive, close to 1k to purchase, on the other hand the Top Flite Model is only $729 and they have a $30 rebate going on so it would be under $700; not sure if the Hanger 9 60cc size limits one to engine choices; my 2 cents worth.

Yeah been crunching numbers for what it will take to build both models and so far I am still up in the air between the 2. Looks like somewhere around a grand difference to complete.
I am leaning towards the top flite ATM although I do like the fiberglass center wing.. Sigh decisions decisions

I have built/assembled many arf's from both manufacturers. Neither are perfect, but Hangar Nine has developed a recent history of bringing out a model, then dropping it after the first run is sold out. This has been very frustrating for many modelers. Top Flite tends to stick by their designs a much longer time. This might be a factor in your decision.

The Hanger 9 is more scale for sure. The only issue I have with it is the covering job is not done well. The covering wrinkles worse than any other arf I have assembled and I have assembled many. The plane flies well and looks good until the covering wrinkles.
