Default Cob Window latch quastion

Hi all does any one have some pictures to a scale right side window latch , when the window is open/up under the wing ?, I would go to the local air port ( miner health problem wont allow at the moment ) maybe first of next week.

I think you'll find a hodgepodge of latch mechanisms if you look at a bunch of different cubs. Below are pics of 2 different styles. Not sure but I think the first is the factory latch.

Thanks RBACONS for the quick reply
Will see what I can do for the internal support for the latch as the wing is all ready covered.

Bob

I recently completed a 1/3" scale PA-11 Super Cub Special. And as RBACONS mentioned there several variations. When I was in this phase of the build I was walking thru Home Depot and came across a very close to scale clasp,, sorry no pictures on the build my bad. But any way the gismo works great.

Have a great day
Dan

Thanks Panhandler

On 1/3 scale it works for me, as I work for H/D I was in the Hwd department and saw those but for 1/4 scale it's a bit big, so I am currently to make something similar, and after 2 tries no luck with the rollers and the clip that goes between them. But we will see.

Thanks again

Cheers Bob T
