Unknown Ultimate Bipe ID help needed
I acquired this plane via club auction this spring. Does anyone of you recognize the mfr of the plane? The wing span and length are both 56". It is unique in that the cowl and firewall start 4" ahead of the main LG position and the forward wing mount struts and cross brace are one piece of aluminum. The other unique part is that the main LG is composite not aluminum. I may be older as there is a tube down the fuse for a 72 mhz antenna. I am in the process of bringing it back to life but I need info on the set-up ie, CG, throws and maybe a new cowl. Pictures included.
cowl loosely fitted for reference.
My SPE 26 mounting fits perfectly
Front wing mount and diagonal brace is one piece of aluminum on each side and all are bolted into frame below

looks to me like an Airborne Models 120 Ultimate, although it may be an early version that was in kit form. not sure from the covering and the fact that it has a 72 MHz radio antenna run installed.
