Brian Taylor 81" Mosquito retracts
Looking to get a Brian Taylor Mosquito. Has anyone built one of these? What retracts are available for these besides Robart? Right now there is a set of Century Jet retracts made for this model on Ebay for $265.
. Seems like a nice set and pretty scale looking, but are century jets the best ones or should I stick to Robarts?
. Sierra Precision are a bit out of my budget.

If I were you I'd stick with the Robart's. Century Jet retracts are NOT good quality at all. Have a set for a customers Hostetler Bonanza and they have had to be rebuilt to work and fit, new bushes the lot.

CJ retracts
Thanks for that bit of information about the century jet retracts. After looking through many threads about these
I sorta came to that conclusion as well.
Glad that I didn't buy those. Someone else did, and I wish them the best of luck with them.
I almost did, but it didn't take very long to search through some threads here and on RCGroups, only to find out that that CJ retracts had a lot of issues.
Robart leads my list, but I might just end up engineering a set of scale Mossie type struts.
It really needs the double struts to give it the proper scale look. A single strut just doesn't have the right look at all.
