LG-01 Bucker Jungmeister is hangared at the Fighter Museum in Pungo near Virginia Beach, Virginia. I went and took 157 pictures of it last year. I am now building a Wendell Hostetler 30% and will paint it in LG-01 colors. Jungies sure fly nice!

Hi Ken
Here are some pictures of my Jungie, Ken. I use the Saito 450 as I asked you about a few months ago. It´s now ready to test fly.
Keleo exhaust and rainbow onboard glow. Pilot from AH design. If it flies well, I shall proceed with the details.

Ken, I am proud that you liked my Jungie and I will come back with a report on the running and the first flight. You have sent the pictures to John Hickman. I feel important
Thank you

I received the following PM. In the interest of sharing my research I am posting the following links. Apparently the 1/3 scale plans are back in stock at MAN. Hurray!
Ken,
i have an interest in building Gary Allen Bucker. I am not too interested in dealing with Arizona Models. Can you tell me if I am able to get the MAN plans for the 33% model, and if I can, where would I be able to get the Cowl and wheel fenders?
Thanks for your time
Kim

Of all the Giant scale planes that I have built, this just happens to be my favorite.

Mine too has a G62 in it, weighs in at 24lb and goes a treat. Has at the moment a wire u/c, though I will make a scale sprung job like this white one I very regrettably sold a few years ago [&o] Glad I did really since it was a bit of a porker at 29lb. Flew well though on a Zenoah G74 twin. Got to be one of the nicest models for scale aeros.

Hello all, maiden flight on the bucker today. 75 deg with a ESE wind at 5-10. Perfect conditions, perfect maiden flight. What a great flying model. Responsive but rock steady, no surprises. Flew well with the G62 on 40:1 with a Zoar 22x10 turning 6400 rpm on a new engine. Thanks to Mr. Allen for a superb flying design and thanks to Ken for letting me hang out in his cyber hanger for a while. Pics to follow if Ican send them to you, Ken, for resizing and publishing. If youre building one of these keep at it. Its well worth it. Roger

Congratulations Roger. I'm sure glad it went OK. It is a wonderful plane. So far, it has been my favorite of all times.
We are getting ready to do a maiden also. Here is the link:

Ken, that Decathalon is fantastic. Great job. The Jungie is a great flyer. Ifound the unpainted Great Planes1/3 scale WWI bust looks alot like Lisel in her flying gear so now that the model is a proven flyer Iwill get a pilot in the cockpit and a dummy engine up front. Good luck on the SD and try to stay cool down in Tejas. I will get the flight pics to you as soon as my friend sends them.

Folks
Looking at the Gary Allen BU-133 Plans the incidences are:
Relative to the Centerline 0 degree reference on the plans
Top wing : -1 degree
Bottom Wing: 0 Degree
Stab: ?? Looks like -1 degree based on what I calculate.
Does -1 Degree for the Stab seem right?

Gentleman
Gary A. was kind enough to reply to an E-Mail.
Upper wing and stab are both -1 degree, and the lower wing is 0 degree relative to the center (thrust) line. Just like the plans.
I have a long way to go on my build as at this point the fuselage is framed up , the lower center wing section is built and I am at the point of adding the stab/fin. Having fun.
Cheers

Roger, just checked in and saw your Jungie - that color scheme on your Jungie is killer ! I love those Luftwaffe schemes.
Gary's latest is a 35% Jungmann and he says he will use the Luftwaffe trainer scheme. I can't wait to see the Jungmann finished.
