I'm going to make a suggestion for you to consider at this point in your building.
I'm doing it because it happened to me.
I'm refering to the pieces of wood that the wing slip onto.
They can break easily if bumped a little hard or if they swell from moisture and you have to jiggle the wing to get it off. Mine broke where the threaded brass anchor is in that former.
The suggestion is to take a 5/32 or similar size wire (the size used on smaller landing gear)
and cut it off about ahalf inch or so longer than the former. Cut a groove in the top of the former and lay that piece of wire into it so that it lays exactly the same level as the wood would be without it.
Now, drill a 1/2 inch deep hole into the place where the former meets the fuselage.
Slide that wire into the hole. Make sure that the top of the former looks the same as before you did this. You have to be able to fit the former into the receiving hole in the wings. 30 minute epoxy the wire into place.
if it is a bad fit, use your dremel and the cut-off wheel to ground down the high spots on the wire and or epoxy. If you want to discuss I am sebo@comcast.net

Hi, sebo.

Thamks for help if construction for CESSNA 150 , he can tell me if the nose gear that I mentioned of THE LIKES LINE , because
them only answer if it goes through letter. What is indicated is very expensive to buy,if you have pictures of the construction he has as sending for me?

I'm sorry I didn't reply. My life has been in a turmoil for the last 6 months.
Multiple deaths of family and friends as well as a tour in the hospital for me.
I'm probably too late in responding but I would suggest that you get the parts cut by a kit-cutter.
My plane is completed and ready for flight. However, time has not allowed me to do that.
Please accept my apologies for the delay.
Cordially,
Ron

My Cessna 150. Plans by Hostetler, cut by Custom Cutters (no longer in business).
I sheeted the entire plane. Glassed with Pacer's finishing resin and 0.6 oz cloth. Primed with white auto primer. Put a thin coat of Clear Klass Kote to make a tougher surface for finishing and painted it with Sherwin Williams auto paint using a touch-up spray gun (from Home Depot) for the white over coat, and an Iwata fine spray gun for the colored portions.
The photo with the sky as a brackound is the full scale plane I attempted to replicate. The others are my model.
Oh, yes, it came out to be a whopping 38 pounds.. not the 24 advertised.
It has navigation lights, on-board batteries for ignition and double batteries for 2 receivers. Jr radio w/ds8411 servos.
Power is a Saito 300 twin.
Hasn't been flown yet. Am in the process of finishing a trailer to haul it around.

Beautiful plane!

I just got my plans yesterday and will be ordering the short/wood kit from a kit cutter service later this month. I haven't found a build log, step by setp pictures or ANYTHING on the web. Sergio's pictures at the top of this thread are about all I have found.

I've built several 40%+ scale aerobatic planes from kits but this will be my first 'true' scale project. I'm modeling it after the plane in the picture since it's the one I solo'd in back in 1985.

Does the wing mounting system work well? I would have thought there would have been a wing tube. Also, I would like to try Fowler Flaps to be more scale.

Hopefully I can pull it off.
