New to gas, good 50cc entry plane suggestions
So I have flown glow forever and do not plan to stop but I got a Hangar 9 P-47 150 with a DLE 50cc attached RTF. I am not familiar with Gas large or small and was thinking about getting a Giant Big Stik to help with the transition instead of flying on the P-47 150. Plus I do not like how he modified the firewall for the 50cc and will make changes to the firewall. I have flown the Hangar 9 p-47 150 before with a OS 160fx and was a dream to fly so I am not new to this plane.
So my question is the Giant Big Stik seems like a pretty basic plane to get into Giant Scale Gas plane and learn the ins and outs on with Gas. Any other suggestions?
Thanks

Yup, if you've been flying the model on glow power, just go fly the one with the gasser. My brother has a smaller version of the P-47 from Tower which was originally setup with a glow engine. After being around me, he decided to convert the model to a small DLE gas engine and he just loves the thing; more power, a LOT less fuel burn and easier to start.

The way I start my gassers choke on full throttle. Flip until it coughs and runs but dies do to the choke. Now throttle down to about a quarter take the choke off and flip until it runs on my DA's about three to four flips
