We change some parts, and did the rudder and rear stab with foam.....the rear stab will have two aluminium tubes join then...so we can remove it to transport the Cessna....

High Guys,
I am now proud owner of a C421 Kit.
Plans are very good, the lasercut parts looks best, cowling and nosecone is GRP and well done. Windshield very light and won´t withstand a birdstrike! (they arn´t heated anyway and don´t cost 25.000 bucks). Lets see how long it will take me to do the job, as in the season I have very little time to build it.

Hi, I glad you liked it. It was alot of work and time, about 2 months for the interior and cockpit, but well worth it to me. The pilot is a 1/4 scale "Freddie Mercury". I got it on EBAY, but the seller was in the UK. You can google EBAY UK and see what comes up. Put Freddie Mercury in the search box and see what happens. Also try the USA EBAY. I need to tell you that the only part of him I could use was the head and neck.......since he is not poseable...stiff as a board...be prepared to pay $100.00 to buy it and get it shipped to your house....outside of the UK....the rest of the body was from the "Dollar Store" and I just exchanged the head and neck, but it only cost me about $10.00 and fully poseable,,,15" tall, his head is not as real, but cheaper. These are called "GX Mega Heroes", they are distributed by Dolgencorp inc. in Goodlettsville TN, in the USA item # 1042. Imported by, Placo Toys inc. in Monterey CA 91754-0449. E-mail: [email protected]. My figure was the "Wild Fire" fireman who had the most real head of the bunch. If you email them they should be able to set you up...The bomber jacket was purchased on EBAY, here in the USA. Search "Bomber Jacket" or "American Girl", who makes 1/3 scale clothes. I paid $10.00 for the jacket and had to narrow it up in the back for a better fit, but its real leather. I don't know how long these will be available, so you might want to get enough to cover your 1/4 scale projects for the next couple of years. A good cockpit is iceing on the cake to me.......Rick

Hi , I just check EBAY here in the USA and if you search "Freddie Mercury" you will see many 18" tall ones to buy. NOW,,,they can be bought for $30-40.00 USD. Just use the head and neck and put in on another 15" figure. You will have to hunt down that "Wild Fire" figure I have from GX Mega Heroes pt # 1042. I did not see any on EBAY. Rick
