Default Saito325 fuel tank

Any idea what capacity fuel tank I should use for a Saito 325 five-cylinder engine in the 87 inch Zirolli Pt17? JimB

Default RE: Saito325 fuel tank

Jim:

I am installing the R-325 in an Aeroworks PT17 and using a DuBro 24oz tank. That was the tank the instructions said to use and it fits well.

My instructions say the engine consumes 75cc/minute so at that rate you are looking at about 9.5 minutes total time. I don't know what the throttle setting is for their fuel consumption rate is but if that is full throttle rate then it allows ample flying time per tank (at least for me).
