Hey guys! I went home to South Georgia over the weekend and visited a little crop duster operation there in my hometown. I got some pretty good pics of a Cessna Aghusky that I hope to load up on here in the next few days. [8D] Hopefully we'll have some new pics from RCguys soon!

Still holding our breaths for the new revised pictures from RC Guys. Unfortuneately, some of us are dead now... (joking).....[&o] But give 'em time....breathe and we'll survive this long wait. After all, it was promised to be due around mid to late autunm. They may be further along than you think. I have a feeling it will be worth the wait. Even December wouldn't be too bad.

Okay....you guys can breathe now.....I just received an update from Dan at RC Guys. The first proto-type is to be flown this coming week. It has a G26 and Dan says it may be the perfect engine for this airplane. He also says he needs to know how it flys before they have the factory finish up the second proto-type with the improved canopy.

Fellow agheads....don't despair. They're working on it and the finished product will be in our midst before you know it!

I'm patiently waiting. [8D] Last time I emailed Dan they were pretty swamped with their Pitts promotion, and he said he would update me when he had more info on the Agwagon. I still have some pics of a Cessna Aghusky to post on here, as soon as I can get them transfered to disc. Hopefully this weekend.

I'm still watching and waiting like everyone else...........I know Dan is busy so I'm not bothering him..........."patience is a virtue few exercise to the point of habit". If I know something I think is pertinant and note worthy I'll share it................other than that, I'll let you and the others carry on.............you see the purpose I started this thread for has been realized; RCGUYS have chosen to produce and market a large Ag plane...............this thread showed them the numbers were there to support their production efforts.........the 16 or so pages of jabber from the "vocal minority" has allowed the "silent majority" to stand up and be counted. Check out how many folks are following this little project. I'm sure this Ag Plane offering will be RCGUYS most successful effort to date. So, keep it interesting cause the audience gets bored easily.
Happy Trails......................

Pertinant and noteworthy........1st prototype flying with a G-26.......Dan is happy with the performance and flight characteristics...........may try a Evolution 26 on the next one for a little more ooomph.

Any chance the final version will come out in something other than yellow? (we wouldn't want it being mistaken for a cub now would we???)

I thought it was yellow at first, but it's actually orange. I wonder how difficult it would be for RCGuys to offer different colors (same design), like blue, orange & red? Just something to consider. I like the orange, but if I'm going to have two or three of these babies (which I'm sure I will) it would be nice to have a range of colors.

While it's quiet, you boys ought to be talking about the next airframe you would like to see in production..........get a poll going or start some stimulating discussions.......

Dan is just twiddling his thumbs and flying that crummy lookin Ag Wagon round and round.............he probably doesn't have a thing to think about till one of you sparks an idea for the next hot plane.......................

Not to steal any thunder from RC Guys, but Horizon has something new coming out around December as well. Different size category and designed for electric crowd only. Looks like the word of a nice agwagon coming out coming out on this thread is being watched by other companies and they're taking note of the positive response. Coincidence? Maybe. I'm not big into electrics....but I may have to get this one. A 62'' ws electric sounds kinda nice...definately not a little foamy park flyer - not that there's anything wrong with that!
Now I gotta save yet a little more money this coming building season.

Note: Link is to a Pawnee...not agwagon. Both fine agplanes!

Okay...link doesn't work. But you can find it on the site under E-flite brand electric planes. The link above takes you to their homepage.

Could RC Guys be starting a trend towards agplanes?! One has to wonder...and hope...that could be true. Currently, if you want a yak, edge or cap in an ARF....you know they're everywhere you look. The market is flooded with 'em. Do a serch on agwagon ARF and see what's available. The first thing that comes up is RC Guys, and next is the long discontinued Kyosho agwagon ARF. Beyond that...there's nothing, zip, nada! I thank RC Guys for 'thinking outside the box' as they say, and bringing something to us that is delightfully different. It will be intresting to see what happens when word gets out that RC Guys can't keep these thing on the shelf. I think everyone else will want a piece of the pie and we may find ourselves in the middle of an agplane ARF buyers market. May never happen but there is a chance - here's hoping.....[8D]
