RE: ISC Pitts Challenger Instructions
I just found this conversation. I have an Old ISC Pitts Challenger that I flew about 13 or 14 years ago with a G-62. It was a handfull then but in looking at it now I had the CG at 7 1/2" back from the center of the leading edge on the top wing. This seems to be way too far back but I guess that is what the manual called for. I'm going to resurrect this bird and wondered if you had any info or insight on CG or the throws?
Thanks for your help.

Hi Arframe2
I know this is an older forum but I have a ISC Challenger I just picked up from a friend. I can take a pick of the firewall if you still need pictures of the firewall? I was wondering if you still have the instructions and if you could email me a copy of the instructions. I have an extra 300 made by ISC and there are much to the instructions, but i thought it would be nice to have them to go with the arc. If you dont have instructions any more but still need pics of fire wall I can still get them for you.
Thanks Bill

Thank you. Do you still need pictures or dimensions of firewall? If you do I can take some pictures and measurements of my plane and email them to you or I can post them on this forum.

Bill, tell me if you get images from this. If so I will send you all of the pages, if not I will find another way. I'm not very computer literate, when
it comes to these kind of things. Aframe2

I am not sure how to use the link. I tried clicking on it but nothing happened. Would it be less work to have you email it to me as an attachment? If so I can private message you my email address.
Thanks

As per instructions, "Locate the center of gravity (CG) which is located at the at the halfway point between the leading edge of the bottom wing and the trailing edge of the landing gear. A working CG range is 1/2" forward to 1/2" behind the exact CG. It is recommended to begin flying your Pitts at the leading edge position."
