For those who currently have the older or earlier versions of the Cessna 182, do you find the functional trim tab on the right elevator
useful in counteracting the roll effects of the plane in flight due to the propeller wash?So far I have not seen any good pictures of the trim tab with a cutout section for a servo. Is it operable or just static?
Any close-up shots to share of this area, on this model will be greatly appreciated as I am contemplating on including this trim function on the 120"
version.

To answer your question yes. The trim tab is effective on the TMMY Cessna. I wish he was still doing it on the newer birds. I have had 4 of these now and the older one were great in that aspect. Leave the trim tab neutral, fly the plane trim it out. When you are down you can check the elevator and adjust the tab accordingly. I did not nor would I want to cut the elevator itself to try and add a servo to it. No need for that. You are inviting problems at that point.

Thank you for the response TShark. Perhaps maybe I should ask Tmmy to see if they can have one made for the 120" version.

Hey Guys.
I have a new, never used set of roof antennas for the 35% TMMY Cessna 182.
If anyone could use them send me a PM and let me know what they're worth to you and we can work out the details.
Thanks,
Dan
