Such a beautiful plane........it's a shame that better looking pilots can't be found.....they all look un-lifelike.

Are you sure you looked through the thread? Here are just a few posts with pilots that look pretty good to me.

WOW!!!. You said you put your order in March 2012 ????.  Is the deman for these birds that great ??. Did you Email him to find out what is the hold up?. That is the problem, in dealing with a foreign country. I have a friend, who is waiting 5mo. And is not getting any resonse. like all these manufactors. The first batch of birds going out the door are flawless, and when the deman is great they just slap them together to meet the deman. And raise the price.. And having your money tied up that long leaves a bad taste in the mouth. I wonder how many other guys are in the same boat as you. I know I read one time, he was looking to sell the moulds. Their govement is not like the U.S.A. .  FRaud  is a big deal here. I hope everything works out for you, and who else might be in the same boat as you. [] From the LONE STAR OF TEXAS, U.S.A. ...

Did you order directly from TMMY or did you order it from the Austrailian distributor Austar Models?

I ordered thru Austars. Tommy is communicating with me, but jeez over 12 months is really pushing it. It took almost a year to get my 27% cessna.

WOW 4th?! Your definitely the most prolific owner. You know George I still have that Hostetler Cessna 421 in the box that you sold me. Haven't started it yet. Wouldn't that be cool if Tommy could make a 27% Cessna 421?

That would nice. I was going to see if Tommy thought there might be a way to do a 182rg. I just don't know if you could get the nose gear in properly.

The nose gear would be the easy part. The trick is getting the mains retracted. I have yet to see a functioning set of retractable mains for any of Cessna's high wing RG aircraft. They may have to be custom built.

It would be a nice project.
But like I said, I've got big plans for the new bird. I'm going to do another CAP plane but fix the mistakes I had with the first one. I want to make this one more competitive than the last one. Most everyone who saw the last one said they liked it but it did have its issues.
