OK, got the fuel tank, fuel line, vent line, etc. done this morning. Then continued to the engine switch, batteries, shelf for on-off charger switches, receiver, canopy, opening door, and and am now charging them. Sounds like Fathers Day will be the day for the maiden flight, minus the cowl.

Pretested the engine out in the front yard. We made sure to use a large enough tree. Don't want to chance it, ya know!

After not being able to pull the old walnut tree over, my two sons and I went out and did a few flights with the Agwagon. As you will see the plane had enough power. On my transmitter I basically just changed the name from Taxi to Agwagon. Then reversed the channels that needed to be changed. the elevator needed about 8 clicks up and the flaps will need a little fine tuning. With flaps on the plane needed some up stick. So the shorter wing to tail on the agwagon needs less down mix in the elevator. The video is about 10 meg. In the video the first landing is without flaps and the second landing is with flaps. Here's a couple pics and the video.

We had our EPP KA6 ready to tow but decided to just go out and have fun with the Agwagon, Brad's DLG, and the cameras. I did have a wheel failure on the last landing. The wheel broke and the tire turned up on the landing gear. Good thing it was the slow, parachute flap landing.

There is a little momentum involved in the takeoff videos. When the motor is broken in then it might keep on going up. I want the power for towing not speed.
Here's a couple more pics around the motor area. You'll notice the function versus beauty.

I'm going to use them for a future EPP slope glider or something. Here's a couple pics of what I think they are for. Pushrods.

Just getting started on mine. What are the long carbon rods for? Don't see any mention of them in the manual.

Hello guys! I just ordered one of these planes but I found out after it had shipped that it won't have a canopy with it yet as there were issues with them. I want to get this in the air for my club's 4th of july fun fly. If anyone has a canopy or knows where i can get one please email me at [email protected]

Joe,
Did the tinted window in the canopy match the opening in the side door? Mine doesn't match at all. Was there a rim around the window opening to glue the window to? Mine has a rim on two sides. The other two are almost flush? What problems, if any, did you run into installing the door and canopy?
Thanks,
Joel Silverstein

Joel,
The window had more meat to glue to on those two edges but the CA glue still hooked up good on all the edges. Don't make the mistake I made and cut the two pins shorter to make them not stick out as far, is you do you will have to be careful cuz the pins will pull down too far and you'll have to get them to stick out of the door rim again. The only hard part with the canopy was caused by the tow release being to tall. after getting it sanded down to size, it fit OK. We'll get some towing in in a couple weeks.

Where did everyone go? [] I was hoping for more insight. My build was delayed, but I'm hoping to "git her done" this weekend. Wdratsloper, can we expect more video... maybe with a cowl?

We have a supermoto motorcycle race this weekend, so the plane will be towing next weekend.
Here's a sample photo from this weekend.

We went out today to try some towing. The engine cowl is now installed so when we got out to the field and the engine is running a little lean, we ended up not getting any towing in.
Here's a few pics.

Here's mine, assembled but not flown. Hopefully this weekend. G-38, JR stuff controling. Went with one servo on rudder and one on elevator in the rear. Moved gas tank the the CG. 2400Ma. battery near the back of canopy to offset wt. of G-38. Only really aggrivating thing I ran into was the screws for the Aileron hardware were not long enough to go through the leading edge of the aileron. I had to route both sides out a little.

Looks good, I think I'll move the gas tank back and turn it around. The first installation is with the hoses coming out the back and the clunk is up front. Didn't think about it the first time. Maybe running out of gas on the climbs.
I'm going to up the antie on the landing gear. We fly off of a pretty rough field and the one supplied is bending a little. We pull and drop so scale can be altered. I'm going to use the Taxi 2400 landing gear, may she rest in peaces. I mean peace
