I along with many others have ordered the new Hangar 9 clipped wing Taylorcraft. I am getting my Zenoah 26 ready for it. Has anyone got one of these yet? The web site showed Early August it was due, but now it shows currently available. Anybody have one yet and any feedback?

I have the old H9 Taylorcraft with a Webra 120. The plane is amazing and extremely aerobatic. You will love the new wing setup being in two halves rather than the very long one-piece wing. Enjoy.

Yes, thats not the only difference, new landing gears with spring loaded and the biggest difference of all should be the shorter wing it should be much more manueverable.

I just looked at Horizons site and it still says "Out Of Stock", "Item coming soon".

How much do they cost in the US guys?

They list for $550 US, but you can negotiate a deal with a Hobby Shop owner, maybe $475-500 from a Hobby shop if you get a guy willing to deal. Thats wierd on the website..it used to say out of stock, then it was removed for a while showing available, now above says out of stock again. Maybe they came in and back orders eat up all the first shipment they got?

Anyone have one in their hands in the US?

Doubledog, I think its two boxes, but won't know till we get one. The web site showed due in Early August. Then last week they changed it to late October. Now they changed it back to late August......go figure. Sounds like they really dont know when its available. I guess we just have to wait and see I have no faith in the dates they are posting anymore because they change so dramatically.

If it's any help I was on the phone w/Horizon Customer Support Tuesday afternoon on another matter and asked the guy to check T'Craft availability. He said their internal info is showing availability by the middle of August. We'll see.

Well, something may be happening. H9 website showed due early september and as of today they removed that so it looks like its in stock and shipping!!! I will know soon I have one on Back order.

According to Bill Brundel, who posted on the other thread, they'll begin shipping tomorrow.
