Yellow Aircraft FA 18
Ive recently purchased a Yellow Aircraft F18 twin, and Im looking for reference sites for how to finish it. I have dream that the full size jet has been done in all black, like the F14, but im unable to find any pics of it. Any tips on good resources will be appreciated :-) Attached an image of the F14

Amtpdb, where did you get that photo? Can you provide a higher resolution photo?
Just aft of the Canopy there appears to be the Squadron designation - It appears to start with the letters VA (Navy designation for an Attack Squadron). If you can get the numbers after VA (or correct me/us if the first letters are not VA) we may be able to google that Squadron designation up. Can you read the correct designation from the original photo?
Thanks,
Bob

RE: Yellow Aircraft FA 18
Just searched and got it. The letters are VFA and then I cant read it. I tried some searches with no luck. It looked like 123 after the vfa.

I think I've got it... It looks like VFA-103, the "Jolly Rogers" (the 'jolly roger' skull & crossbones was the tip-off). Duh, perhaps the most famous squadron logo in the Navy. Google VFA-103 up and see what you get.
See what you can find now, Laukli
