Default throttle & choke connections

I,m reading you guys are using ball links for choke & throttle connections. I need to know how you make them fit. Are there adapters that make the choke & throttle longer so the ball link will fit. If I grind off the choke lever & take out the pin, is that a threaded shaft so I could put a screw in like the throttle?? Kinda confused......Thanks guys

Drill out the bushings on a couple of nylon nose wheel steering arms, shorten the arms to clear and attach then to the throttle and choke shafts.

Use EZ connectors or clevises to your push rods.

Works every time.

Heres a pretty good picture of what I did. I used some brass that was laying around the shop and shaped it like a control arm then soldered it to a wheel collar that fit the shaft. Then went back and redrilled the wheel collar. Took about 20 minutes in the shop.

Hmm - not letting me post the picture. One more time.

I use Dubro 4-40 ball joints and 4-40 threaded rod. Strong and smooth.
